Gun Rights Groups Prepare To Depose Newsom After He Threatens California Gun Owners

The Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC) and NRA both warned Gavin Newsom that, if he dares to defy the Supreme Court and enact illegal gun control, they will shut it down with protests, lawsuits, and "cultural change and empowerment.". 

"FPC will not only fight Newsom's war on human rights head-on, we will also actively undermine it through cultural change and empowerment until his authoritarian policies are as irrelevant and impotent as Newsom himself," FPC told Newsom in a statement.

The NRA also warned Newsom to think twice before declaring legal insurrection, stating "His promise to run roughshod over the Second Amendment is little more than political theater. He and fellow Democrats should proceed at their own peril: the American people will not tolerate another taxpayer-funded assault on constitutional freedom."

The NRA was responding to a recent edict from Newsom where he warned Californians that his Attorney General was directed to prosecute "anyone who manufactures, distributes, or sells an assault weapon or ghost gun kit or parts in the State of California."

The FPC is preparing to uphold the Constitution against Newsom's brazen disregard for the rule of law, including promoting and enforcing the right to custom build firearms, and preparing to drown Newsom in lawsuits. They are also looking forward to a positive ruling on Bianchi v. Frosh, a Supreme Court case based on a similar law passed in Maryland to Newsom's new warning.
