Outdoor Video Storytelling (ft. Madison Hughes)

“I started getting into little filmmaking in college at Florida State in Tallahassee. And there was a major there’s called Digital Media Production. We learned how to shoot interviews and tell people stories. Most of them were kind of around the sporting events at the school. And when I graduated, I was interested in, like, political stuff. So I was working on Capitol Hill doing video editing and I decided to go out on my own…After I met Gabby, we started doing some outdoor, like the filmmaking in [the] outdoor space, I just fell in love with it. And like she said, ‘I love telling people stories that are kind of unheard and amplifying them’. Because the gift I have is able to, you know, tell someone’s story in a super cool way that they couldn’t do otherwise—if they didn’t have a filmmaker person.” — Madison Hughes
