Drilling past rocket science

You’ve heard it countless times: “It’s not rocket science”! But rocket science has nothing on geo-science. In fact, drilling for oil and natural gas is arguably more complicated that space exploration. We’re not kidding. And if that isn’t impressive enough, consider the amazing process of hydraulically fracturing these exceptionally long lateral wells. While astronauts get all the glory, the men and women who produce oil and natural gas humbly do the work that makes everything in our lives possible, including space exploration.
