Liberal Media ATTACKS Child Trafficking Awareness Event For The Most Disgusting Reason

By John Paluska, Founder of The Daily Fodder

A child trafficking event was smeared by the Liberal Media because it was backed by a Qanon supporter. Even though the roots of Qanon and its leadership are unknown, one thing about the movement is clear, the complete hatred for child trafficking around the globe.

So with such a noble goal, it is surprising the Left would choose to smear an event rather than promote it. In an article by RawStory, a prominent hard-left media outlet known to have printed multiple false stories and half truths, they said a GOP Senator "pled ignorance" for attending the event:

Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) says that he was unaware that the “Save the Children” human trafficking rally he attended this weekend was backed by a supporter of the “QAnon” movement, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

...

QAnon supporters organized “Save the Children” rallies over the weekend in various cities, the AJC reports. The FBI has labeled QAnon as a domestic terrorist threat and Facebook temporarily blocked the #SavetheChildren hashtag earlier this month for spreading misinformation.

In addition to RawStory, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution wrote:

Congressman Buddy Carter was apparently unaware that a “Save the Children” human trafficking rally he attended over the weekend was backed by a supporter of QAnon, a discredited conspiracy theory.

The rally’s ties to QAnon were not highlighted in local media coverage of the event that began with a march from Savannah’s City Hall. However, attendees sported clothing and waved posters with symbols and slogans from the conspiracy theorist network whose many claims include a movement within the federal government to topple President Donald Trump.

QAnon supporters organized “Save the Children” rallies over the weekend in various cities, including Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. The FBI has labeled QAnon as a domestic terrorist threat, and Facebook temporarily restricted access to the #SavetheChildren hashtag earlier this month after concerns it was being used to spread misinformation.

Now I am not affiliated with Qanon. I don't think that Q is a member of the Trump Campaign or Trump's Cabinet. Personally I think it's a propaganda campaign. But the organization is unapologetically anti-sex-trafficking, and to smear an event simply because it's run by an organization campaigning for President Trump is appalling.

Despite the FBI stating they are a domestic terrorist threat, there is no reason, even in the memo, to suggest they are violent. The memo simply states they have spread conspiracy theories.

Last I checked, the AP and Reuters have spread multiple conspiracy theories too. They peddled the Russia Collusion Myth, they said Trump was a Russian asset, and they backed the Christopher Steele memo as if it was the Holy Grail. But the FBI doesn't label THEM a terrorist organization. Maybe they should be labeled terrorist organizations. At least that would be consistent.

But nevertheless, to completely smear a legitimate event concerning an issue that affects 20-40 million people worldwide just because it's run by an organization you don't like is a disgusting and completely immoral position to take. Even though Qanon has been responsible for some rather out there conspiracy theories, there is absolutely nothing wrong with shining a light on child trafficking.

The Liberal Media should be ashamed of itself.
