Secretary of State Michael R. Pompeo spoke today with Minister of Foreign Affairs Ahmad Nasser al-Mohammad Al Sabah of Kuwait. Secretary Pompeo and Minister of Foreign Affairs Al Sabah discussed continuing efforts to support Americans and Kuwaitis returning home in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Secretary Pompeo thanked Minister Al Sabah for Kuwait’s strong partnership with the United States and discussed regional issues including Iran’s destabilizing behavior.
